Entertainment Designers Forum 2017: A panel of design experts will discuss their styles and philosophy in designing theme park attractions, shows & film. A Q&A will follow each session & a silent auction will feature original artwork, theme park memorabilia, and collectibles.

You may know her as Chance when Erin played the perfect, psycho partner to Jack in Carnival of Carnage. But this talented acress is more than just a pretty carved up face! Erin has appeared in half a dozen films. And you may have seen her in Fangoria. Notable films include Sanctuary; Quite a Conundrum, Veer! and The Housewife Slasher.
Michael Aiello

Michael Aiello

Director of Entertainment Creative Development for Universal Orlando's Entertainment Division

Michael Aiello is a Writer and Show Director for Universal Studios Orlando with major emphasis on the annual Halloween Horror Nights. Beginning his career in 1996, Michael has performed in many acting roles within the theme park, but it wasn't until 2003 that he was given the opportunity to write the yearly pop culture spoof "Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure," which he continued through 2005. Michael then became a Show Director for Universal's Show Development, the team responsible for all Halloween Horror Nights creative concepts as well as entertainment content for the Orlando parks and resorts.

Vice President of Sales at FUNA. Past role as Technical Manager at Universal Studios Orlando

Reish, who started his career in Automation Design and Fabrication on Broadway, has served as Director of Sales, Director of Capital Projects, Project Manager and Systems Designer for many high profile themed entertainment organizations, including Universal Orlando. He has been recruited to develop FUNA’s theme park business in North America.

J. Michael Roddy

Show Director, Walt Disney Creative Entertainment

Michael is a writer/director for many projects for Disney including Star Wars Weekends, Disney Cruise Lines' Halloween on the High Seas & for the first time in forever: a Frozen sing-along. Michael is also a filmmaker and actor. His documentary, The Shark is Still Working, chronicles the popularity and staying power of Jaws.

VP Theme Park Experience Design at SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment

With over 10 years at SeaWorld parks Brian leads the SEA Creative studio for all attraction and park design for the 12 SEA theme parks. Brian will be on hand to talk about Cobra's Curse, Falcon's Fury, Pantopia, Discovery Cove and SeaWorld California: Explorer's Reef.

Manager, Make-up & Prosthetics, Universal Studios

Michael is an Emmy nominated make-up artist, he is also the man behind the redesign of Jack The Clown and Chance for the Carnival of Carnage show for HHN 25. Michael has had over 30 years in the entertainment business and continues to work on films in his spare time. He'll be flying to San Francisco the morning after the Forum. He has a film in a film festival there!

Facility Design Manager & Facility Art Director at NBCUniversal, Inc.

Mike specializes in master planning for themed entertainment, conceptual attraction design, construction management, and field art direction. He is the Facility Design Manager for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley

Technical Manager- Show Sets / Scenic at Universal Creative

Greg was technical manager for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. Before that he wore a variety of hats while working on HHN for over a decade. He was also technical manager on Star Tours 2.0
George Gakoumis, Jr.

George Gakoumis, Jr.

Art Director, Scenic at Universal Creative

George Gakoumis, Jr, is Universal Creative Scenic Art Supervisor for Props/Fabrication Department , where he over sees the artist that help create the many elements seen in various attractions such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.. His experience as a scenic artist in film, television, exhibits and the theme park industry has helped prepare him for the challenges of recreating finished for The Wizarding World Attractions established in the Harry Potter films. George worked closely with various designers, art director and the supervising art director for the Wizarding Worlds, to establish scenic treatments for “Props” in both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. In addition, he developed paint treatments for the Escape from Gringotts ride vehicles, scenic consultant for the Hogwarts Express and the painted texture of the animated portrait seen throughout the attractions for Orlando, Japan and Hollywood. George has contributed to several THEA (Themed Entertainment Association) award winning projects which include, CSI TheExperience, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter & Diagon Alley at Universal Studios and Island of Adventure. Over his 20+ year carrier, George has worked as a scenic artist and lead on various commercials, TV shows, theme park attractions, scenic shops, museum exhibits, and feature films. Over a ten year span, George has also been a scenic lead of Houses and Streets for Universal Studios Florida’s Halloween Horror Nights and Universal Art & Design Department. George is currently the Scenic Arts Supervisor for Universal Creative.
